About Colorado Classical School
Think Deeply. Love Wisely. Live Faithfully.
Rooted in Faith, Built for the Future
Colorado Classical School was founded to provide an excellent classical Christian education in the Denver metro area—one that integrates the historic Christian faith into every aspect of learning.
Serving scholars in grades K–8 in Centennial, Colorado, CCS seeks to form the whole child in wisdom, virtue, and a love for what is good, true, and beautiful. Our teachers serve as mentors, guiding scholars’ intellectual, moral, and spiritual growth through a rich classical tradition.
We invite families who share this vision to join a community committed to raising the next generation with purpose, faith, and excellence.
What Is Classical Christian Education?
A time-tested approach that teaches scholars how to think, not just what to think.
Grammar Stage (K–5th)
Young children are naturally curious and love to absorb information. The Grammar stage leverages this by laying a strong foundation of knowledge—facts, rules, stories, and vocabulary—across every subject. Scholars memorize, recite, and sing their way through rich content, building the raw material they will later learn to analyze and articulate.
Logic Stage (6th–8th)
As scholars mature, they naturally begin asking “why?” The Logic stage channels this inclination by teaching formal reasoning, critical thinking, and argumentation. Scholars learn to connect ideas, identify fallacies, and construct sound arguments. They begin to see how all subjects relate to one another and to the overarching truths of Scripture.
Rhetoric Stage (9th – 12th)
Woven into the later Logic years at CCS, Rhetoric teaches scholars to express themselves with clarity, persuasion, and beauty. Building upon the knowledge gathered in Grammar and the reasoning sharpened in Logic, scholars write compelling essays, deliver speeches, and engage in meaningful dialogue. They are equipped to defend their faith and articulate truth with grace and confidence.
